There are basically two southernmost points in Finland – one on the mainland and the other one in the Finnish Archipelago in the Baltic Sea.
On the mainland you can find the southernmost point in Finland on the tip of the cape of Hanko. To get there you have to walk along the Tulliniemi nature trail which goes along the sea and has a distance of 6.7 km. There are also markings along the trail. There is a small rock monument which symbolises the most southernmost point of Finland. The cape of Hanko is also a good place to watch birds.
